Commercial Work
Given my background I gravitate towards commerical work focusing around animal husbandry and welfare. That's lead me from projects such as illustrating books like the Ultimate Pet Handbook, creating marketing materials for the largest pet store in Australia and creating riggable animatable puppets for programs like the Pet Masterclass series.

Ben Dessen, New Holland Publishers, 2022, Children's Book
A 168 page fully illustrated children's book containing both pet illustrations, but also detailed diagrams of appropriate enclosures for less commonly kept pets including reptiles, invertebrates, aquatics and small mammals. Working with a quick turn around requirement and with additional illustration requirements added on throughout the process.
The Pet Masterclass Series
Onyx Agency, Sponsored by Hills. 2022 - 2024
A series of online classes on animal husbandry for individual species. Creating assets, infographics, print materials, animations and designs for over 40 videos over a period of 2 years.
Kellyville Pets
The largest Pet store in NSW, Asset Development 2021-2024
Working both on site and off site creating graphics and assets for both print and digital advertisements, web assets, printed materials for in store use -- both for dispersal to customers and for in store décor. Working closely with both the design team and floor team to create a huge range of different designs and projects.
Veterinary Materials
South Texas Avian and Exotic Hospital - San Antonio TX
Working to create bespoke husbandry manuals and materials for an exotics exclusive veterinary practice in San Antonio, TX. Also managing the social media accounts to provide relevant, accurate and engaging content.
